The Memories Café on Jl Jaksa serves a large menu of Western and Indonesian dishes, prices for mains are about 20000 Rp. It’s the place to meet other backpackers, enjoy a meal in a friendly atmosphere, and it has that lovely rickety bamboo decor which I’m crazy about. It’s also a bookshop and an internet café opened for 24 hours.
