Kuta beach, Lombok, Indonesia

Although having the same name, Kuta beach in Lombok and Kuta beach in Bali couldn't be more different. If the beach in Bali is always filled with tourists, the one in Lombok is serene and not many travelers arrive here. The crystal blue sea, the white sand and the rugged hills are the main attractions here but there isn't much else to do. The good side is you'll have all the beach to yourself or maybe share it with a few fishermen. There are some great surfing breaks off Kuta beach but you'll have to rent a boat to get there (200,000Rp a day).
