Kya Kya is the heart of Chinatown in Surabaya and this heart begins to beat at night. And food is what makes it tick. Kya Kya is actually a big outdoor foodcourt with food stalls with cheap food lining along Jl Kembang Jepun. Kya Kya opens at 6pm after all the shops on the street have closed. The main cuisine is Chinese and Indonesian. If you have issues with food safety this is not the place to eat but you can still enjoy food and people watching while taking a late night stroll.
