If you're feeling a little homesick, Via Via is a western oasis for travelers. The owner there is Belgian and brought a little piece of home to Indonesia: Belgian beer at the bar, western dishes (real milkshakes!) on the menu and newspapers from all over the world. Indonesian food is still served, a different dish every day. They also give Indonesian cooking classes - 4 hours to teach you the basics of Indonesian cuisine.
