Pasar Beringharjo market in Yogyakarta

Yogyakarta's biggest and noisiest market is Pasar Beringharjo which is also the oldest traditional market. Located on Jl Malioboro it's a good place to mingle with the locals and shop for cheap batik, clothes or homeware of all sorts. The best part is the older section, the wet market, where you can find fresh vegetables, fruit, meat and spices.
